I have the honor to DJ the All South Championships once again this year, which is promoted by the one and only Pete (Dennis) Fancher. The details are below if you want to join the fun!

Saturday, November 3, 2018
Meeting: 7:30 AM (Prejudging: 9:00 AM)
The athletes meeting will begin at 7:30am at Pedro Menendez High School . Athletes not attending this meeting will not be allowed to compete. Music will be taken up and competitor numbers assigned immediately following the athletes meeting. Prejudging will begin at 9am.
Meeting: 5:00 PM (Showtime: 6:00 PM)
The evening show will begin promptly at 6pm – not 6:10, 6:15 or 6:30 – 6pm. Athletes must report back to the auditorium no later than 5pm for the athletes meeting – athletes not attending will not be allowed to compete in the evening show and will lose their placings.

Weigh Ins

Late entries will be accepted at the Friday weigh-in / check-in only and entries fees will be paid in cash only. Late entries will not be accepted the day of the show and there will be no weigh-in or check in the day of the show – no exceptions.

ENTRY FEES

Entry fees are non-refundable. Entry is $75 per event/division – athletes may crossover. Contestants may pay with cash, check or money order payable to Pete Fancher. Please note that the deadline for entry fees is Saturday, October 27, 2018 by midnight. Entries post-marked after this date will be $100 per event and will only be accepted at the mandatory weigh-ins Friday, November 2, 2018 (CASH ONLY). Entries will NOT be accepted the day of the show.

Scratch Session – DJ Johnny Oz, DJ Hiztory and DJ Nelson (Tampa, FL)

This weekend I had the opportunity to watch DJ Numark perform an all 45’s set during Ol Dirty Sunday’s at Crowbar in Tampa, Florida. Before we went out for the night, DJ Johnny Oz (@DJ_Johnny.Oz), DJ Hiztory, and myself (@DJ.Nelson.Music) were able to get a scratch session in. Here’s just a little preview of what happened that night. Nothing was planned – everything in this video is freestyle scratching. Also, shout out to DJ Fugi (@EvilFugi) for coming through later in the evening and throwing down. It’s always a good time in Tampa!

Gainzville Classic 2018

My next event is on August 11th, 2018 in Gainesville, FL.

The GAINZ•ville Classic is a bodybuilding, figure, bikini, classic, physique competition live in Gainesville Florida. This event brings to one stage some of the top Fitness competitors worldwide. Open to all NPC registered athletes and expect special appearances from the some of the biggest names in professional bodybuilding. Back by popular demand, the 2018 NPC Classic Physique Athletes will be allowed to crossover and compete in additional divisions. This will be in an all-day event featuring 2 rounds of competition: 1st round-prejudging (9 am) and 2nd round finals (6 pm). All are welcome to attend this fantastic event!
